Is Scuba Diving Safe?

Dive The Gap :: Scuba Diving Articles

Safe Diving
Like many other sports and activities there are inherent risks in scuba diving. However scuba diving has attained one of the best safety records in recent years unlike many more common sports. Safety training is instilled on divers from day one, ensuring that even entry level divers are taught basic skills needed to ensure their safety and the safety of others. Both PADI and Dive The Gap view this as paramount.

Performance based training starts in water deep enough to stand up in and progresses at the individual divers rate. All skills are mastered by the student before progressing to the next level.

Diving a non-impact zero-contact sport in a weightless environment. For more information about the safety of diving please contact us.

We at Dive The Gap pride ourselves in a 100% Safety Record, and are the most dedicated to diver safety in this field.
